So what have we been up to? Well we didn't do the Gondola ride as the price/value ratio just didn't add up. We walked the ride in about 5 mins so it seemed pointless. Michelle however bought a Thomas Tzabo something or other.
While in the Venetian shops enjoying a gelato we witnessed a free show, jugglers, someone on stilts and a woman trying, badly, to sing opera.
We mooched over to Treasure Island where I nearly lost my cap at one of the machines. It was still there when we rushed back for it. On the way back we called in at the Cheesecake Factory and I was upset Penny wasn't doing a shift, but she did quit I guess... 😢 Linda ordered a Strawberry cake thing which was the size of her head. Did she finish it? Did she ba....
Caught the Belagio fountains on the way back which are a very nice attraction it must be said then headed back to hotel for drinks and throwing money away.
Next day we got a 24 hour bus ticket after walking south down the strip to look at the MGM, New York New York, Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay hotels. Basically once inside they are ALL the same. Bus to a discounted outlet mall, picked up some Bose travel speakers, which was nice. For me 😎. In the evening we took the bus to Fremont Street which was basically a dirtier seedier strip. And lets just say some of the women there wouldn't have took long to strip naked.
Yesterday we got a chance to chill by the pool. $34 for THREE cokes. THREE!!!!! The liquid kind! Needless to say we only bought them the once. Then we went out early, had some Mexican and went to the top of the Eifel tower, didn't like that. Cold and windy and creaky.
Today up early and out for the Grand Canyon by helicopter. Which was frankly awesome. Diazepam rocks 😀 Would have liked it to last longer but no, only about 80 minutes flying. We paid extra for the video of the journey which should be available to us by drop box in a week or two. Might let others see it.
